NCDEX Agri Tips and Trend For Today: 7th Feb '12

NCDEX Refined soy oil
Refined soy oil traded higher on Saturday and it ended the afternoon session at 688.10. if prices able to break above 692 could see a sharp rise in prices towards 695 (22 day EMA resistance is placed). Conversely, unable to do so the short covering rally may reverse and may see prices to plummet towards 685 followed by 680 levels.

NCDEX Jeera
Jeera futures in India ended lower as higher area under cultivation and favorable weather conditions raising hopes of increased production in 2012.

NCDEX Pepper
Pepper futures ended lower as subdued export demand and hopes of improved fresh arrivals from the new season crop in coming days restricted the gains. Supplies from the new season crop have started arriving in small quantities in southern Kerala and Karnataka states.

Agri commodities Report:
Cardamom April contract was up by 2.02% to Rs 801.70 per kg, potato April contract was up by 2.80% to Rs 751.40 per 100 kgs, potatoTRWR March contract was up by 3.28% to Rs 614.40 per 100 kgs, cotton March contract was up by 2.21% to Rs 18,480 per bales while sugar February contract was down by 0.24% to Rs 2,885 per 100 kgs and menthaoil February contract was down by 1.72% to Rs 1,525.70 per kg.
